You really didn’t know what to expect when a pair of brothers answered your online ad looking for roommates. You just wanted to make rent easier on yourself. This apartment was the only one available at the cheapest place in town and that wasn’t saying much. Without a couple of roomies you wouldn’t be able to make rent with your measly paying waitressing job. Not to mention you were still trying to pay off student loans.
But as soon as you opened the door, you were floored. They were tall. Very tall. And handsome to boot. Especially the taller one. The shaggy hair really was a good look on him.
His slightly shorter brother wasn’t bad looking either. The spikiness of his bangs gave him an air of tough attitude. An attitude that he probably used fairly regularly.
“I guess you’re responding to the ad online?” you said, with a smirk on your face.
“That’s right,” said the shorter one. “I’m Dean, this is my little brother Sammy.”
“It’s Sam,” the taller one retorted, moving past Dean to shake your hand. “It’s nice to meet you…..uh…”
“Y/N. My name is Y/N.” You shook his hand, loving how firm and rough Sam’s were.
You stood back to let them inside. It was a nicely furnished apartment with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. You showed them around, explained what little rules you wanted to lay out. You weren’t their mother so you didn’t plan on keeping them on a leash with a crazy amount of rules. They seemed all to excited to have their own bedrooms, but apparently didn’t mind sharing a bathroom.
“So, do y’all have any questions?” you said after the tour.
“No, I guess. Except that we’re your new roommates!” Dean said.
“We’ve never had a place to call our own. So we appreciate your allowing us to stay here.” Sam said, not taking his eyes away from yours.
You looked up into his fully for the first time, and almost got lost in all the shades of color they held.
